Data We Collect

• Account: email, name (for login + personalisation)
• Trips: rides logged, routes generated, waypoints
• GPS location: recorded during active ride tracking (only when you press "Record ride"). Used to calculate distance, speed, and improve route quality. GPS data is stored with your ride and synced to your account.
• Road quality scores: anonymous aggregated road ratings used to improve route suggestions for all users
• Device: OS, version, screen size (for bug fixing)
• Usage analytics: feature usage, crash reports (PostHog EU — optional, consent required)

Why We Collect It

• Account data: provide and maintain your account
• Trip data: core app functionality
• Analytics: improve the app (only with your consent)

AI Route Generation

Route generation uses Anthropic's Claude API. Your starting location, destination, and ride preferences are sent to generate routes. No personal data (name, email) is included in AI requests.

Retention

Account + trip data kept until you delete your account. Analytics data retained 1 year.

Third Parties

• Supabase — auth + data storage (EU region)
• PostHog — analytics (EU region, optional)
• Anthropic Claude — route generation (no personal data sent)
• OpenStreetMap / OSRM — map tiles + routing (no account data sent)
• RevenueCat — subscription management

Requests fulfilled within 30 days.

Security

Data encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Data breach notification within 72h to relevant EU authority.
